Meet Your Instructor,  Katie Page

Hi, I'm Katie Page—an award-winning educator, passionate instructional technology leader, and lifelong advocate for meaningful innovation in education. I currently serve as an Instructional Technology Coordinator in one of Illinois’ largest high school districts, where I have the privilege of supporting educators across multiple campuses in bringing technology to life in their classrooms. Before stepping into this leadership role, I was a high school physics teacher focused on making complex scientific concepts both accessible and exciting. That work earned me the honor of being named Illinois Physics Teacher of the Year by the American Association of Physics Teachers—an experience that deepened my commitment to practical, student-centered learning. Today, I help teachers integrate a wide range of digital tools and strategies, with a growing focus on the transformative power of Generative AI. As an Apple Distinguished Educator and Apple Education Forum Ambassador, I’ve collaborated with educators nationwide to design tech-rich, impactful learning experiences. I also serve as the Legislative Director for IFT Local 1211, where I advocate for educational policy that supports the people who make learning happen every day. The AI Lab for Educators is my way of sharing what I’ve learned—offering practical resources, inspiration, and community for educators who want to explore and lead with AI in the classroom.
